Frequently Asked Questions

Customer satisfaction is our goal! Before accepting to do a job, we make sure our customer is clearly explained what will be done and how it will be done. Our employees are professional and highly qualified tree care workers led by a certified arborist. We follow the standards set through American National Standards ANSI 300. Our employees are members of the International Society of Arboriculture, and the Tree Care Industry Association along with experience to insure you and your trees receive the most up to date tree health care in a safe manor.
Absolutely! Tree service is specialty insurance, and is not covered in landscaping or general contractor insurance. Call the office and the secretary will take the appropriate information for the insurance company to fax, mail, or email a certificate of insurance directly to you with your name and address on the COI. We also keep an updated copy of our workman compensation and business liability at the townships in Bucks County that require a contractor's license. To verify, call your township.
Below is a list of towns that we service daily. During the winter and slower seasons, we tend to branch out to other areas. As always, if the job is large enough, we will travel further. Possibly. It depends on your township and where your tree is located. If your tree is located between the curb and sidewalk you may need a permit. If you are clearing a large area you may need approval from your township. Contact your local township office to see if your tree service requires a permit first. All customers are responsible for applying and receiving their own permit before work is preformed.
No deposit needed. No payment is necessary until the work is complete.
We always offer a 5% discount to our Senior customers, as well as anyone in the military or first responders. You can also find our coupons in multiple fliers and papers throughout Bucks County. Yes! We accept all major credit cards.
If the tree is medium to large, a discount will apply, and the wood will be cut into firewood size logs and left close to where the tree was cut for the customer to split for firewood. If the wood is hard wood that our company can recycle for firewood, it may be more efficient to pick up the wood with the log truck then cut it, so no discount will apply.
No. A log truck normally picks up the logs, and once they are cut into firewood size logs it creates more work and takes more time to load the logs. Sometimes the wood turns out to be more than customers can handle, and in that case a simple cardboard sign saying ”FREE FIREWOOD” should allow the customer to have the wood removed fairly quickly and for free.
The stump grindings can be used as mulch and put in flower beds or around other trees, but you have to let them settle before spreading them. Once the grindings have decomposed you will have nice fertile soil to replant a tree, bush, grass, or whatever your heart desires. You can also shovel them out into trash barrels and put them out for yard pick. Most yard clean up trash trucks will not pick up yard clean up in Home Depot or Lowes yard bags, but they will pick them up in a can with no bag. Be sure not to make the can too heavy for the trash man to lift. Grindings can also be removed by our crew with the removal of the tree for a small fee.

We stay right on top of all the work that comes, so our customers are served right away. With that being said, we do not make a schedule ahead of time. We never know what mother nature has planned for the weather. It may rain for 3 days straight making it unsafe working conditions for our crews. We might get a major storm and have to spend day(s) doing emergency work removing trees off homes, one blocking roadways and such. Our arborists will give you a call the night before to let you know the crews will be out. No one needs to be home to have the work performed. For smaller jobs, we may call you the day of if we are in your area and can fit you in.
